What is Mallorca Children’s Centre?

Mallorca Children's Centre offers all families, a range of services, information and support, from conception to children up to the age of five years. Our centre can be used for those who wish to delay sending their children to nursery but still enhance their children’s learning, development and social skills, or compliment nursery goers through our broad range of services. In addition, prior to the birth of your children, we provide a programme of support and information, to enhance the pregnancy, birthing and parenting experience.

We are childcare professionals as well as mums of young children based here in Mallorca. We created Mallorca Children´s Centre when we realised there was a lack of essential maternity and childcare services on the island. Programs and activities have been chosen specifically to stimulate senses, expand knowledge of the world and develop appropriate skills.

We provide:

• High quality integrated childcare, education and support for all children and families who use the centre.

• A place where parents of young children can play and learn together where you can meet other mums, make new friends and relax in a safe and stimulating environment.

• Activities and experiences that are age and stage appropriate, maximising children's potential at all times.

• A broad and balanced programme of activities and experiences, delivered by a multi-professional team.
• Resources which have been chosen specifically to stimulate senses, expand knowledge of the world and develop appropriate skills.

·         An opportunity for parents-to-be to meet and socialize whilst being able to have those fundamental questions surrounding labour, birth and being new parents answered.

At the centre our approach will be led by the Early Years Foundation Stages and Reggio Emilia (see “Approaches” page for more information), and NHS guidelines.

We look forward to meeting you and your family soon.
